Comment 2 Adam Kaplan 2023-10-16 14:35:29 UTC
Description of problem:
Plugged my Lenovo ThinkPad P1 into Lenovo ThinkPad Thunderbolt 3 dock, Gen 2 with just USB-C
Dock has external monitor (HDMI) and network cable (ethernet, CAT 5e/CAT 6) attached.
Dock was powered by 135W adapter. I also had a 230W adapter for the laptop.

Upon attaching to dock, desktop was black, but the cursor was still visible.
After about 2 minutes of the desktop not being responsive, I physically powered off the machine.

Was not able to reproduce - docking worked after restarting my computer.
