- Start Speed Dreams 2 in windowed mode - Click Race - Click Practice - Click Start - System reports that Speed Dreams encountered a SIGSEGV reporter: libreport-2.17.11 type: CCpp reason: speed-dreams-2 killed by SIGSEGV journald_cursor: s=f21598267daa4ef3a6cc29277fe219e5;i=65994;b=c4f5ff0d4827496380fda1f5069c1977;m=21a9bc044;t=600f4f2d5ae00;x=dfdea8510e83d6c0 executable: /usr/bin/speed-dreams-2 cmdline: /usr/bin/speed-dreams-2 cgroup: 0::/user.slice/user-1000.slice/user/app.slice/app-gnome-speed\x2ddreams-13016.scope rootdir: / uid: 1000 kernel: 6.3.12-200.fc38.x86_64 package: speed-dreams-1:2.2.3-6.fc38 runlevel: N 5 backtrace_rating: 4 crash_function: playMenuMusic
Running speed-dreams-2 from the terminal reveals the following message before the crash: FATAL: ssgInit called without a valid OpenGL context. This link provides some helpful context: https://github.com/flathub/org.speed_dreams.SpeedDreams/issues/11 I followed the instructions noted in this GitHub issue to change the graphics engine using the Click Options -> OpenGL menu and found that the graphics engine was already "ssggraph" as noted. I changed the engine to "Osggraph" and was able to play the game. Unfortunately when I exited the game, speed-dreams-2 encountered a SIGABRT which is now tracked with https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=2224739.
does this also happen when the "graphic engine" is set to "ssggraphic" ?
