Satellite 6.12 and above versions can be installed on RHEL 8 only. Here it is mentioned that 'Choose from the available list which operating system and version you are installing on' but the statement is not valid as the suggested steps are applicable for RHEL 8 only. From the end-users' perspective, we keep this to stay clear on the OS version we support. Removing the header may create confusion for supported OS versions. Thank you for your feedback.
Hi Malhar, Not sure if there was doc update after I reported this. It looks good now, 'Choose from the available list which operating system and version you are installing on' is no longer visible under section 3.4. Configuring Repositories
