Description Direct Docs Feedback 2023-07-20 15:15:25 UTC
The instructions are for enabling the RHEL 7 server extra repository from RHUI is incorrect because of the repository name 'rhui-rhel-7-server-rhui-extras-rpms'.

The correct command should be as follows:

  # yum-config-manager --enable rhel-7-server-rhui-extras-rpms

Annotation: Section "3.1. Preparing a RHEL 7 system for the upgrade" of the "Upgrading from RHEL 7 to RHEL 8" title.
