Following up on this comment elsewhere: https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=2035771#c13 Does this package enable decoding x265 video? If so, it should apparently indicate that in the Provides section. Installing this package certainly does seem to enable decoding x265 in Totem. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: "Reproducibility" isn't necessarily the right word in this case, but I did need to install this package to get Totem to play x265 video. Actual Results: - Expected Results: - MPV plays files fine regardless, but Totem won't play x265 unless I install this package. On the command-line it prints out a message like this: ** Message: 03:52:46.633: Missing plugin: gstreamer|1.0|totem|H.265 (Main Profile) decoder|decoder-video/x-h265, level=(string)4.1, tier=(string)main, profile=(string)main, colorimetry=(string)bt709, chroma-format=(string)4:2:0, bit-depth-luma=(uint)8, bit-depth-chroma=(uint)8 (H.265 (Main Profile) decoder) This wouldn't be an issue because I can just use MPV instead of Totem, except for the fact that the Totem thumbnailer can't generate thumbnails for H.265-encoded files either.
