Description edpil02 2023-07-28 17:53:49 UTC
After some problems with systemd-boot 254 on /boot/efi and upstream telling me that systemd only supports /boot and /efi for ESP , I tried to install rawhide with ESP on /boot.
But anaconda crashes during kernel-modules installation with this message:
kernel-modules postinstall scriptlet failed.

But the install is successfull if i disable kernel package with a kickstart file and install it manually in a console with "chroot /mnt/sysimage && dnf install kernel kernel-core" before leaving
anaconda.

Reproducible: Always

Good news:
Systemd upstream decided to allow /boot/efi again: https://github.com/systemd/systemd/issues/28550.

This bug appears to have been reported against 'rawhide' during the Fedora Linux 39 development cycle.
Changing version to 39.
