Describe the issue: RFE BZ # 2223796 was raised to request support for multiple StorageClusters. Engineering in the BZ requested a documentation BZ be created as they said that "what the customer wishes to achieve can be achieved today with only a single storage-custer by specifying custom device classes in StorageClassDeviceSets and creating different ODF StorageClasses based on those. Parth implemented the feature in Rook and can provide more detail including a link to the ODF doc for the feature". Describe the task you were trying to accomplish: Customer has said they would like the following features: a. Different types/sizes of backing disks (SSDs, Rotational, etc) b. Different failure domains (one set of nodes vs another set of nodes) Suggestions for improvement: Document the procedure to emulate multiple storage clusters. This will allow multiple Ceph pools to be used with different types and sizes of backing disks and different failure domains (eg. one set of nodes vs another set of nodes).
