This release again changes checksum algorithm making decompression of archives produced with previous version to error. The new version has a new option to ignore the checksum value. I will push this version to rawhide and to epels.
Current EPEL upgrade policy forbids incompatible updates for nonsecurity reasons <https://docs.fedoraproject.org/en-US/epel/epel-policy-incompatible-upgrades/#procedure_for_other_packages>. Therefore I will refrain from updating bzip3 in EPEL. If there arise a need for a new version, I can either package it under a different name, or retire-and-readd it.
