Description of problem:
SELinux is preventing 5 from 'getattr' accesses on the file /var/snap/cups/common/etc/papersize.

I am having the same issue. I was installing software packages using the Discover program on Fedora 39 Workstation Edition, which uses the Kernel Version 6.2.9-300.fc38.x86_64 (64-bit), KDE Plasma Version 5.27.9, KDE Frameworks Version 5.111.0, Qt Version 5.15.11, and Graphics Platform X11.

I was installing the FreeCAD software packages from the Discover program and an error message appeared, which said; "Unexpected response 'sync' returned for async request". I have no idea what caused this, however, it seems to be
related to snappy software packages.

Fedora Linux 38 entered end-of-life (EOL) status on 2024-05-21.

Fedora Linux 38 is no longer maintained, which means that it
will not receive any further security or bug fix updates. As a result we
are closing this bug.

If you can reproduce this bug against a currently maintained version of Fedora Linux
please feel free to reopen this bug against that version. Note that the version
