Red Hat Satellite engineering is moving the tracking of its product development work on Satellite to Red Hat Jira (issues.redhat.com). Description of problem:

While performing the yum repository creation after discovering, it fails with the following error.

"Validation failed: Label cannot contain characters other than ascii alpha numerals, '_', '-'. , Label must contain at least 1 character, Name must contain at least 1 character"

Steps to Reproduce:

  Discover the repository https://dl.fedoraproject.org/pub/epel/8/Everything/x86_64/

  Content --> Products --> Repo Discovery -->  URL to Discover : https://dl.fedoraproject.org/pub/epel/8/Everything/x86_64/  --> Discover --> Select the repositories --> Create selected  --> Run Repository creation

Looks like the debug repository created successfully.
