Dear Sirs, i am running a Ryzen9/Nvidia notebook with Fedora F38 and an attached USB-Dockingstation, that connects a external monitor via AltDP. From time to time the desktop on the external monitor disappears for a second and coms back. The monitor does not report any disconnected signal, so i guess it must be a software issue. Dear Friends, i recognized, that the desktop-collapse effect seems to be related to connect problems with epiphany-runtime-44.6-1.fc38.x86_64 and the web-based telegram. After the deinstalltion of the web-api driven telegram, the problem with the external monitor disappeared. I'll keep you informed, whether this state is stable over time.
Ok some further weired things happened. I installed the official telegram desktop app and the external desktop went crazy while starting flickering very often (all 1 to 5 seconds). So there must be something wrong in conjunction with telegram and gnome-shell, that mess up the desktop for external connected displays. I switched back that issue to gnome-shell and increased the severity to urgent. Besides i found out, that chromium does not have any problem to run telegram via its web-interface. Maybe there is also something wrong with the JS runtime of the gnome-shell.
Sorry for my frequent messages, under chromium i had also one one-secound collapse of my external display. I performed a restart without to start telegram at all. Ill keep you informed.
Sad to say, that the collapse issue is there, regardless if i have telegram running i a chromse browser or not. The only thing i can say, is that the telegramm-qt4 appplication and the ephany-web-app with telegram seem to enforce that problem, due to the frequency of the desktop-collapse on my remote display.

I changed the severity state to high after i realized, that the same problem could be testet unter Windows with the most recent nvidia-driver. Maybe it is a common bug in the nvidia driver or one of my hardware devices (docking station) has a problem.
It seems that both tried HMDI or the DP cable is not shielded against electromagbetical radiation or the USB-Dockingstation has a fault. I moved away my mobile from the computer equipment and the fault rate went down. Sorry for the traffic.
