The update fixes FTBFS of the package with Cython 3.2.0, but requires a new test dependency not packaged yet in Fedora: python-pytest-codspeed

"Pytest plugin to create CodSpeed benchmarks" we should try avoiding the dependency.

there's a reason I didn't update this, from mem there's a cross dep (I thought I had added it) between possibly this, pychromecast and the protobuf update.

Comment 188 Miro Hrončok 2025-11-13 13:55:49 UTC
I'll check the dependents before proceeding.

Comment 189 Miro Hrončok 2025-11-20 09:43:32 UTC
https://src.fedoraproject.org/rpms/python-zeroconf/pull-request/18 should fix the build with Cython 3.2.

Hence, not updating this just yet.

Comment 190 Lumír Balhar 2025-11-20 14:05:26 UTC
Tests are failing with: E ModuleNotFoundError: No module named 'pytest_codspeed'
