Hi Marian, Double confirm with you about the following questions: > > We’re running Openstack Train on RHEL 8.8 and we've seen several cases of VMs freezing with no identifiable errors a few days after those VMs had been live > > migrated from CentOS 7 hypervisors running on the same hardware platforms > > The hypervisors are all running RHEL 8. We see those hangs from kernel 4.18.0-425.13.1.el8_7.x86_64 to kernel 4.18.0-477.13.1.el8_8.x86_64. 1.Per the above words: 1) the customer is migrating VMs from CentOS 7 to RHEL 8.8/8.7, right? If so, have they tried migrating from CentOS 7 to CentOS 7 and are they experiencing the same issues migrating from CentOS 7 to RHEL 8.8/8.7? 2) I checked https://access.redhat.com/support/cases/#/case/03573369, see the cpu model as 'Xeon(R) CPU E5-2630 v4' in the /proc/cpuinfo file. Combined with your statement above that "the migration occurs on the same hardware platforms", then the CPU models on both the source and target machines are Xeon(R) CPU E5-2630 v4?
