In current branched Fedora 39 (and Rawhide I assume) by default it is not possible to leave ibus-anthy with Super+Space. Instead it is captured by ibus-anthy. ibus-libpinyin seems okay so I assumed this is a problem with the Anthy IME? Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. add Anthy IME 2. Switch to Anthy with Super+Space 3. Try to switch away from Anthy with Super+Space Actual Results: 3. Space characters inserted Expected Results: 3. Switch back to other IME/Input Source On the other hand ibus-anthy is unchanged since F38... So might be this is an issue with ibus or another component??
(Also tested okay with ibus-m17n)
I can reproduce consistently in gnome-terminal, gnome-text-editor, (not gnome-shell), kwrite, etc The wide space is U+3000 (Ideographic Space)
Same thing happens with just Space key of course (without Super)
Thank you for the report. I fixed the Super-space issue with ibus-anthy-1.5.14-15.fc39 which is now pushed to the stable but not sure if you can get it. I will release ibus-anthy 1.5.15 next week. (In reply to Jens Petersen from comment #3) > Same thing happens with just Space key of course (without Super) I'm not sure why you indicate the single space key but hope the fix is fine.
Thanks looks good now I tested with $ koji-tool install ibus-anthy : $ ibus restart (In reply to fujiwara from comment #4) > (In reply to Jens Petersen from comment #3) > > Same thing happens with just Space key of course (without Super) > > I'm not sure why you indicate the single space key but hope the fix is fine. I was just saying that Super+Space and Space were behaving the same that is all.
