Description of problem: 
If changing to 1024x 786 or other display settings the screen is split into an
upper and lower display that only shows 1/2 the screen. 

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):


How reproducible: Upgrade to new kernel and change the display settings to
anything other than 800X600 


Steps to Reproduce:
1. Upgrade Kernel
2.reboot
3. recieve errors about the x server and reconfigure the display settings,
restart xserver and be stuck in 800x600 
  
Actual results: 800x 600 


Expected results: To be able to go back to 1024x 786 


Additional info: Please advise of log files needed and locations.
