Description of problem: Installing FC7t1 (4 CDs version) on Athlon64 If I use the default package list, the installer hangs at the end of "Checking dependencies in packages selected for installation..." If I do a minimal install, it works fine. If I add things to the default list, it hangs. There must be some middle ground where just adding a single package (or group) triggers the bug, but I can't seem to find it. I'll keep looking. Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): FC7t1 How reproducible: always Steps to Reproduce: 1. install FC7t1 with default list of packages 2. 3. Actual results: see above Expected results: duh Additional info: System is manually partitioned: /dev/sda1 /boot /dev/sda2 swap /dev/sda3 / /dev/sdb1 /data All disks and partitions are pretty large.
How does it hang? Can you switch ttys? If so, can you grab /tmp/anaconda.log and /tmp/syslog?
Moving to 'devel' as discussed on https://www.redhat.com/archives/fedora-devel-list/2007-March/msg00095.html.
