When I upgraded to 2.1, all but the most basic features went missing. I don't even have an information pane about the torrent. When I look in the settings, there are no plug-ins listed. They are on disk though.
Hi I have also upgraded to 2.1 (ktorrent-2.1-4.fc6) on Fedora Core 6 AMD_64 and there are no plugins. The plugins appear to be installed under /usr/lib64/kde3 but ktorrent can not see them at all, they are not available for selection. [root@bajor kde3]# dir /usr/lib64/kde3/ktipfilterplugin.so -rwxr-xr-x 1 root root 140912 Feb 6 09:18 /usr/lib64/kde3/ktipfilterplugin.so All the other shared objects in the /usr/lib64/kde3 directory have a .la file but all the ktorrent plugin files do not. Not sure if it is related. Regards Daniel
I'm on it, will post a message as soon as I know more.
Should be fixed with next release which will hit the mirrors soon, please report otherwise. FYI: the bug was indeed that I filtered out the *.la files (which is a Fedora guideline). I should have known better in this case, but forgot it while preparing the new release. Sorry for the inconvenience.
