On every reboot, Flo Beta1 kudzu finds two unknown devices and then removes
them.
Disabling the USB function in the motherboard stopped the symptoms.

    MOBO = Asus A7V Socket A
    CPU =    AMD Duron 700

Yes. Fixed in the rawhide kudzu.
