Red Hat Bugzilla – Bug 229343
Allow ifup-ipsec setting of my_identifier
Last modified: 2014-03-16 23:05:34 EDT
I'm just starting with IPsec, but for my connection I need to use a user_fqdn as
my identifier instead of address with a preshared key, but ifup-ipsec always
sets "my_identifier address". Here is a patch that allows it to be changed from
the ifcfg-* file.

ifup-ipsec and doc patch
Oops, I shouldn't change the name written to psk.txt. That is the remote
identifier or address. I'll add a new patch shortly.

Added in CVS, will be in 8.52-1. Thanks!
