Description Toshio Yakawa 2007-03-06 23:29:19 UTC
Hi,

We have tried to install the fedora core 7 test 1 on a Pentium Dual Core 2
computer.

It can not detect the harddisk RAID paritions created by the PCI IDE RAID card -
Adaptec AHA2400. The kernel can detect the i2o device and load the i2o drivers
in the initial text setup process. But the graphical setup can not detect the
RAID card and harddisk paritions.

It work fines on from fedora core 3 to 5 with kernel version up to 1.6.18. The
fedora core 6 has the same problem.

Thanks,
paul

I have the same problem.

Comment 2 Chuck Ebbert 2007-04-24 13:58:53 UTC
This was fixed upstream March 27th. All Fedora kernels after March 29th or so
should be OK.
