The program 'gnome-terminal' received an X Window System error.
This probably reflects a bug in the program.
The error was 'BadMatch (invalid parameter attributes)'.
  (Details: serial 1128 error_code 8 request_code 72 minor_code 0)
  (Note to programmers: normally, X errors are reported asynchronously;
   that is, you will receive the error a while after causing it.
   To debug your program, run it with the --sync command line
   option to change this behavior. You can then get a meaningful
   backtrace from your debugger if you break on the gdk_x_error() function.)

Expected results:
a terminal

Additional info:

It does not happen when using Metacity but only when using beryl. I notice
there is no beryl in the Components menu.

Comment 1 Will Woods 2007-03-23 17:26:23 UTC
This happening to me, due to a bug in cairo. It should be fixed as of
cairo-1.4.2. Could you please update cairo and gnome-terminal and test again?

Comment 2 Kurt Heine 2007-03-23 21:03:27 UTC
Updated and fixed. I dont seem to have the problem anymore and gnome-terminal
is working fine.  Thanks.
