Description Rickey Moore 2007-04-11 10:32:07 EDT
Description of problem:
video playback stutters
Thee was no generic xine to post to, so I'm posting it under xine-libs.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
noted below in the trace

How reproducible:
Every time.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. play any .swf file
2.
3.

Actual results:
video stutters

Expected results:
expected smooth playback when mplayer and ffplay have no
problems playing back with the same files.

Additional info:
This is xine (X11 gui) - a free video player v0.99.4.
(c) 2000-2004 The xine Team.
Compiler did not align stack variables. Libavcodec has been miscompiled
and may be very slow or crash. This is not a bug in libavcodec,
but in the compiler. Do not report crashes to FFmpeg developers.

We had the same problem only a few months back. I resolved it then by down
grading and switching repos.

There's no generic "xine" component in Bugzilla, because it's (the xine UI) is
not shipped in Fedora. SWF support in xine/xine-lib is AFAIK implemented
through ffmpeg, which is not shipped in Fedora either, so you'll need to find
out where your xine/ffmpeg/xine-lib-with-ffmpeg-support packages are from, and
report the problem to their maintainers.
