Description Pablo Manalastas 2007-04-19 18:12:02 EDT
Description of problem:

Using the Nautilus file manager, I start a CD/DVD writing session. I copy and
paste the files/directories that I want to the burner session. When I click on
the [write] button, the session hangs even before it has prepared the files to
write. I do not know if the bug is in Nautilus, mkisofs, or cdrecord. This
problem exists only in my FC6 system. On Debian Lenny (on the same machine), I
do not have the problem. Any clue?

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):

How reproducible:

I tried more than five times, and the program just displays a grayed window
saying that it is computing data size. I wait and wait and wait and nothing
happens. So I go to a terminal, and "kill -9" the Nautilus CD burner process.

Did you try with cdrecord directly? n-cd-b can create an iso file that you then
can burn with cdrecord.
