Description Fred Strauss 2007-05-09 10:37:40 EDT
Description of problem:
Plus signs in package names are not handled well. (Eg libstdc++)

How reproducible:
Consistently

Steps to Reproduce:
1) Do a package search for "libstdc++"
   This fails with the message "Search strings must contain only letters,
   numbers, hyphens and dashes."

2) Do a package search for "libstdc"
   Click on "libstdc++" in the results.
   Returns with no packages found.

Expected results:
1) Should list at least the libstdc++ package.
2) Should show details for the package libstdc++
Comment 2 Clifford Perry 2009-08-22 12:42:15 EDT
This has been fixed within 5.1 Satellite (likely) and for sure in 5.3 Sat - we re-wrote the package search in 5.1 and testing against 5.3 this is working correctly.
