Description Need Real Name 2001-01-16 06:18:43 UTC
Packages tried:
emacs-20.7-13.src.rpm
emacs-20.7-28.src.rpm

Emacs segfaults after a couple of actions. Usually spiting a window a few
times or file name complition. Reason is unknown.

I have heard their may be a problem with libc so I am attaching
an rpm query for this; howeer, I have recompiled 40% of my system
includeing the kernel and have not had a problem.

Your system isn't up2date (in particular, your glibc). Get new ones, and reopen
if still a problem. In particular, this fixes "alphaev6 memcpy bug causing
random crashes on alphaev6."
