same thing here, after FC6 to F7 upgrade :

The processus :

fraggle 22924 7.2 4.8 420588 75248 ? Sl 22:37 0:03 java
-Dgnu.gcj.runtime.VMClassLoader.library_control=never
-Dazureus.install.path=/home/fraggle/.azureus/app org.gudy.azureus2.ui.swt.Main

"freeze" ... and azureus do not start.

I'm having the same error message in .xsession-error.

Comment 2 Jérôme Benoit 2007-06-06 22:41:25 UTC
I cannot change this to f7 "extras", maybe the primary bug reporter can do it ?
'cause it's here after f7 release ...

Comment 3 Gerald Cox 2007-06-07 00:35:26 UTC
Changing to F7.

Comment 4 Thomas Antony 2007-06-07 08:26:57 UTC
I did have a very similiar problem with azureus.
I installed azureus with "Add/Remove Software" and could not start it because it
did have missing dependencies.

/usr/bin/build-classpath: error: Could not find bcprov Java extension for this JVM
/usr/bin/build-classpath: error: Could not find gtk2.8 Java extension for this JVM
/usr/bin/build-classpath: error: Could not find glib0.2 Java extension for this JVM
/usr/bin/build-classpath: error: Some specified jars were not found

2007::org.gudy.azureus2.core3.security.impl.SESecurityManagerImpl::initialise::-1:
  No SSL provider available

In a terminal i removed azureus with yum and reinstalled it with yum and this
time all dependencies were resolved and i could start azureus.

Hello,

Same thing here :

yum remove azureus and yum install azureus did the trick but for me it was
obviously not a dependencie trouble ...

Cheers.

Comment 6 Jérôme Benoit 2007-06-13 13:21:08 UTC
And to finish, the splash screen stay here ... while azureus is running.

Comment 7 Thomas Antony 2007-06-14 19:43:29 UTC
I could start azureus a few times and then it doesn't start anymore. I had to
remove my ~/.azureus and then i was able again to start azureus.
The dependency problem is pirut related.
I do have the same problem with the splash screen, but you can disable it in the
options.

Can you re-test this with the new azureus in rawhide (should be in tomorrow):
azureus 3.0.3.4
