Description of problem: In commit https://src.fedoraproject.org/rpms/kquickimageeditor/c/016a2131094ef634e3a20b4afc1e7bfa6f218ba6?branch=f43 the qt5 subpackage was removed. According to the Fedora Packaging Guidelines https://docs.fedoraproject.org/en-US/packaging-guidelines/#renaming-or-replacing-existing-packages the package should include: Provides: kquickimageeditor-qt5 = 0.5.0-5 Obsoletes: kquickimageeditor-qt5 < 0.5.0-5 because kquickimageeditor-qt5-0.5.0-4.fc43 is the latest available version. Additional information: After running dnf remove kquickimageeditor-qt5, a subsequent dnf upgrade upgraded 487 packages
Agreed, this should be fixed with another update in my opinion. For me there weren't any updates after the removal but "dnf distro-sync" was very unhappy with it being installed.
This package has changed maintainer in Fedora. Reassigning to the new maintainer of this component.
