Description Need Real Name 2007-06-13 19:39:50 UTC
Description of problem:

qt4 designer in the qt4-devel package built for fc7 is broken. When running qt4
designer, the functionality to drag and drop widget objects from the widget list
into any form is broken. Also, when you attempt to move or drag a widget object
in an open form, the object returns to its original location in the form. Also,
dragging a new widget from the tool/widget bar onto a form fails. This makes it
impossible to build a form.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
I've attempted the following versions of qt4 designer in Fedora 7

4.2.3 that is available for Fedora 7

Rebuilt qt4-devel packages from the src RPMs:
4.2.1
4.2.2

How reproducible:

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open qt4 designer
2. Create a new form window, can be main window or widget
3. Attempt to drag any widget or tool into the new window. For example, try to
drag a table widget into your new form window. It will dissappear and not be
added to your new form.

Actual results:

Expected results:

Additional info:
The development qt4 designer version 4.3.0 works properly in Fedora 7. This
issue is not seen.

Also, this issue was not present when using the qt4 designer from the qt4-devel
package when running Fedora Core 6.

Good thing qt4-4.3.0 hit updates yesterday. :)
