Description Richard Williams 2007-06-25 14:15:44 UTC
Description of problem:
Evolution Contacts set up to use LDAP server on external system. LDAP server is
openldap-2.2.30. Certain contact details pre-loaded on server, including
telephoneNumber fields. If a telephoneNumber field value is deleted, evolution
crashes. Work-around is to replace incorrect or unwanted telephone numbers with
country code (for example, +44).

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):evolution 2.10.2

How reproducible:

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Pre-load external LDAP server with certain values including telephoneNumber
fields.
2.set up evolution to use external LDAP server for contacts.
3.Open the contact details for an entry containing a telephoneNumber and delete
the value.

Actual results: evolution crashes (bugreport file attached)

Expected results: telephoneNumber set to null value.
