Description of problem: The file attached has CP-1251 encoding but gedit initially sets KOI8-R. I didn't even added KOI8-R to the list of encodings. Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): gedit-2.18.0-3.fc7 How reproducible: always, unless file was opened with proper encoding manually. gedit seems to remember that setting and open file properly always after that.
