Description of problem:

Request for Enhancement (probably upstream)

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):

2.18.0

It would be nice if one could set the character palette applet to deliver the selected character to the clipboard in various formats, e.g. XML character entities, C source for UTF-X. See the character map accessory for possibilities. This could be very useful for developers.

Would you mind filing upstream?  This isn't the type of feature I'm likely going
to have time to implement.
