kernel 188.8.131.52-41.fc7 fails to boot

Description of problem: Kernel hangs whilst booting.
The last message displayed (having turned off quiet) is:
NET: Registered protocol family 2
If I boot the 184.108.40.206 kernel (which works), the next messages after the one
Time: acpi_pm clocksource has been installed.
Switched to high resolution mode on CPU 0
Switched to high resolution mode on CPU 1
Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): 220.127.116.11-41.fc7
How reproducible: Every time

Actual results: Hangs
Expected results: Boots!

Try these kernel options alone and together:
