when i try to compile the kernel under RH7 linux
system,after doing make dep ; make clean  when it starts make bzImage
after a few seconds the compile stops telling me that some h files
are not in correct place(!?!?!)
my system:
ASUS A7V motherboard
AMD thunderbird 900
128 MB ram
20 gb western digital HDD
creative geforce2

You forgot to do "make mrproper" first.
make mrproper erases your .config file though, so be sure to copy it to
a safe place first, then do make mrproper, then copy it back.
After that, do an "make oldconfig" to active your .config and then the make dep
etc
