Description Levente Farkas 2001-01-29 11:39:03 UTC
hi,
it'd be useful to add support for VNC Tight Encoder in the main disro
since it'd useful to everybody who has a slow connections
http://www.ce.cctpu.edu.ru/vnc/

Comment 1 Tim Waugh 2001-01-29 11:42:44 UTC
Yes, I agree. But I don't think Const really thinks it's stable yet. When
it's stable and more widely tested, sure.

Comment 2 Tim Waugh 2001-05-04 11:22:13 UTC
Okay, Const says that 1.1p9 is ready and that 1.2 will be very similar to it.
Tight encoding is now in vnc-3.3.3r2-15.
