Vista compatibility is addressed in the next update.
We currently have samba-3.0.25b packages in the Beta channel, can you test to
see if this problem is fixed there?

(Note: if you want to install this version of samba on a productions system and
you plan a possible rollback, make sure to backup all relevant tdb and
configuration files and restore them before reverting).

The proposed package 'samba-3.0.25b' with 'samba-client-3.0.25b-0.el5.4' solved
the problem:
