This defect is considered MUST-FIX for Florence Gold release
Comment 2 Mike A. Harris 2001-02-24 09:14:57 EST
Please try our latest beta and see if that fixes it for you, if not
please attach your Xserver log and XF86config-4 to this bugzilla

Also, attach the output of both "lspci -v" and "lspci -vn" please.

Comment 9 Bill Nottingham 2001-02-28 18:59:49 EST
Does Xconfigurator work for you after the install?

If it doesn't, does editing

and changing the line for your display from:
Dell; Dell 1280X Laptop Display Panel; 0; 31.5-90.0; 60.0; 1
Dell; Dell 1280X Laptop Display Panel; 0; 31.5-90.0; 59.0-85.0; 1

Comment 10 Preston Brown 2001-03-01 16:35:39 EST
fixed in 4.9.15 and later.
