Trying to install a 32-bit IcedTea RPM package on a 64-bit OS when the 64-bit IcedTea is already installed causes file conflicts. It is possible to get around this problem with --force, but we should really fix it. Also, it does not seem to be possible to persuade yum to install the 32-bit packages on a 64-bit system. We need to fix this too.

This is an rpm limitation. > > Also, it does not seem to be possible to persuade yum to install the 32-bit > packages on a 64-bit system. We need to fix this too. This is deliberate.
