Description Andrew Parker 2007-09-14 18:45:25 EDT
Description of problem:

During first boot, if you say you do not head any audio on the "Sound card" page
it tells you to "...create /root/scsconfig.log and /root/scsrun.log on the
System tab" However, there is no "System" tab, that is only available when you
run system-config-soundcard.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):

F8 test 2 (also happens on test 1 too)

How reproducible:

Steps to Reproduce:
1. As above
Actual results:

As above.

Expected results:

Presumably either have the System tab available, or change the error to say run
system-config-soundcard and then ... ?

Comment 1 Martin Stransky 2007-09-19 08:48:14 EDT
Aha, okay. Anyway, that logs are created by default if you answer "No" there.
Comment 2 Martin Stransky 2007-09-25 11:21:11 EDT
should be fixed in rawhide now.
Comment 3 Andrew Parker 2007-10-06 10:10:58 EDT
Was this fixed by removing it from first-boot? I did a 7.92 install a couple of
days ago and don't *remember* seeing the sound card config? I could be wrong
though, I was pre-occupied with something else at the time.
Comment 4 Martin Stransky 2007-10-08 02:06:10 EDT
Yes, s-c-sound was removed but I fixed that message, too.
