Description Bastien Nocera 2007-09-20 00:33:16 UTC
xorg-x11-drv-i810-2.1.1-3.fc8
2.6.23-0.184.rc6.git4.fc8

Machine is a Dell D420 with an i945 video:
00:02.0 VGA compatible controller: Intel Corporation Mobile 945GM/GMS,
943/940GML Express Integrated Graphics Controller (rev 03)
00:02.1 Display controller: Intel Corporation Mobile 945GM/GMS, 943/940GML
Express Integrated Graphics Controller (rev 03)

1. Launch desktop, and start playing back a video using Totem
(gstreamer-properties shows "Intel(R) Video Overlay" is used, not the textured
overlay)
2. Stop Totem, suspend machine
3. Resume machine
4. Start playing another video in Totem

The video will be all black, and the machine will hang, or X crash when exiting
the application.

X log attached.

I think we fixed this upstream for the 2.2 release, can you try that?

Comment 3 Bastien Nocera 2008-01-10 23:45:38 UTC
That was fixed some time ago indeed, forgot about the report. Closing.
