Red Hat Bugzilla – Bug 324321
Start script is invalid
Last modified: 2008-01-13 06:07:29 EST
Description of problem:
Start script of hddtemp daemon is invalid. Error message: too few arguments,
must be at least one.
Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
Steps to Reproduce:
I edited script manually for my drives. It now works
You should not edit the script, but /etc/sysconfig/hddtemp instead.
Please copy-paste the full, exact error message you see, and let me know where
you see it (console, /var/log/messages, where). If you haven't configured
/etc/sysconfig/hddtemp, you should see this, not the error message you posted:
# /etc/init.d/hddtemp start
Unconfigured: hddtemp, see /etc/sysconfig/hddtemp: [FAILED]
