Description Christopher Meyers 2001-03-20 22:00:33 UTC
From Bugzilla Helper:
User-Agent: Mozilla/4.76 [en] (X11; U; Linux 2.2.17-14 i686)

Server line in default /etc/xinetd.d/rexec points to /usr/sbin/in.rlogind.
This should be changed so that the server = /usr/sbin/in.rexecd.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. set disable=no in /etc/xinitd.d/rexec.
2. attempt rexec from remote computer
3.

Actual Results: it is known that rexec is disabled in /etc/xinetd.d by
default. the usual method to enable rexec is to change disable=no in that
file. unfortunately, the shipping version of RH 7.0 also requires that you
notice the server line is incorrect in /etc/xinitd.d/rexec.

This is fixed in the current rsh-server.
