This works correctly on my test box (with imap-2000-3, krb5-libs-1.22-3,
pam_krb5-1.29):

[root@frenzy /root]# cat /etc/redhat-release
Red Hat Linux release 7.0 (Guinness)
[root@frenzy /root]# rpm -q krb5-libs imap pam_krb5
krb5-libs-1.2.2-3
imap-2000-3
pam_krb5-1.29-1
[root@frenzy /root]# telnet localhost 110
Trying 127.0.0.1...
Connected to localhost.localdomain (127.0.0.1).
Escape character is '^]'.
+OK POP3 localhost.localdomain v2000.69rh server ready
