the integrated wireless NIC on the Compaq nc6000 business class notebook
Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
Steps to Reproduce:

Kernel traps when trying to load ath5k module
Fallback kernel 22.214.171.124-91 works fine.
Kernel no longer traps with 126.96.36.199-10
Linux version 188.8.131.52-10.fc7 (email@example.com)
(gcc version 4.1.2 20070925
However, ath5k does not work correctly. Error from dmesg as follows:
[bryanc@scooter ~]$ dmesg |grep ath
ath_pci 0000:02:04.0: can't get channels
ath_pci: probe of 0000:02:04.0 failed with error -22
ath5k is still a work in progress. Please see bug 254192.
Closing this as CURRENTRELEASE, since the oops is gone.
