Description of problem:

At boot time, the kernel traps when trying to load ath5k module for
the integrated wireless NIC on the Compaq nc6000 business class notebook

1.  Use yum to update to kernel on Fedora 7

Fallback kernel works fine.

Kernel no longer traps with
Linux version (kojibuilder@xenbuilder4.fedora.phx.redhat.com)
(gcc version 4.1.2 20070925

However, ath5k does not work correctly.  Error from dmesg as follows:

[bryanc@scooter ~]$ dmesg |grep ath
ath_pci 0000:02:04.0: can't get channels
ath_pci: probe of 0000:02:04.0 failed with error -22

ath5k is still a work in progress.  Please see bug 254192.

Closing this as CURRENTRELEASE, since the oops is gone.
