Description macker 2007-10-22 20:25:55 UTC
Description of problem:
When creating a new partition in fdisk, if using +sizeM (e.g. +100M), size is
calculated based on 1024K. When using +100G, size is calculated based on 1000M,
instead of 1024M.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
util-linux-2.13-0.44.el5

How reproducible:
100%

Steps to Reproduce:
1. fdisk /dev/[hs]da
2. n
3. [pl]
4. [enter]
5. +1G

Actual results:
1000M

Expected results:
1024M

Additional info:
May be fixed in Update 1, have not checked. Encountered bug during RH300,
course material specifies using 'G".
