Description Jim Bell 2007-11-17 16:11:00 UTC
Description of problem:
Did an auto-upgrade on the security update. Apparently an updated kernel is in.
When I'm not connected to the internet desktop items take minutes to open. When
I am connected to the internet, response time is immediate. Any idea? Booting
stalls at CUPS and sendmail for up to 10 minutes.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
Fedora 2.6.22.9-61.fc6

How reproducible:

Steps to Reproduce:

Just to clear things up, what makes you think initng is responsible for this
behaviour? You say it started when updating the kernel, seems more to me like a
problem with the kernel...

Anyway, is there any more information you could provide? Anything that seems
relevant in /var/log/messages? What does a ngstatus after startup say?
