Description dun 1999-07-06 08:02:05 UTC
if I run /etc/rc.d/init.d/network restart /w the full path
it works fine. If I cd to /etc/rc.d/init.d/ and then type
". network restart" the command does not run and I am
immediately logged out.

Comment 1 Jeff Johnson 1999-07-06 11:12:59 UTC
Executing ". network restart" (note the space) will cause
the current shell to exit, that is correct.
Perhaps you meant "./network restart" (note the slash).
