Description Need Real Name 2001-05-07 17:05:27 EDT
From Bugzilla Helper:
User-Agent: Mozilla/4.76 [en] (X11; U; Linux 2.4.2-2 i686)

Description of problem:
1. The installation (upgrade) process always stops on the package:
tetex-fonts-1.0.7.15
25,828 KBytes

2. I have a aic78xx (aha-2940uw) controller and CD1 would not boot from the
attached CD drive. So, I have to create an installation diskette from the
image on CD1, boot from this diskette and try to upgrade from the RH Linux
Binary CD1 then.

3. See #1 above.

4. The "exceptional error" output from the anaconda installation program
(twice, from 2 similar machines) is listed below.

5. I'm doing a Workstation Upgrade from RH Linux v7.0
kernel /i686/kernel-2.2.19-7.0.1.i686.rpm on 2 almost identical machines.

6. I'm doing a full graphical workstation upgrade from RH Linux 7.0 to RH
Linux 7.1.

How reproducible:
Always

Steps to Reproduce:

Linux 7.1.

Actual Results: The Upgrade stops and I can never get it to get past this
point to complete.

Expected Results: Upgrade should have completed.
