Description cfzeitler 2007-11-26 07:45:30 UTC
Description of problem:

after getting the 'edit bookmarks' list, right-clicking
on a selected bookmark & choosing 'open in konqueror fails,
after spawning ( and re-spawning ) several ineffectual kfmclients.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):

kdebase-3.5.8-5.fc8

How reproducible:

see description

Steps to Reproduce:
1.open the 'edit bookmarks' window from the 'Bookmarks' tab
2.select & right-click on a bookmark
3.choose 'open in konqueror' item from the menu

Actual results:
several (re-spawning) kfmclient instances & the url fails to get opened

Expected results:
selected url should be launched ( in a new window )

Additional info:
rpm -V kdebase returns a null.

The described operation WORKSFORME. ???

When you say "several (re-spawning) kfmclient instances ...",
Do they open at all?
Do they open blank?

Comment 2 cfzeitler 2007-11-27 18:08:02 UTC
they don't open, just kinda swarm around...

Comment 3 Rex Dieter 2007-11-27 18:14:28 UTC
"swarm around"? what does that mean? nothing happens?

Comment 4 cfzeitler 2007-11-27 18:32:21 UTC
they just keep re-spawning... nonething else happens

Comment 5 Than Ngo 2007-11-28 11:14:34 UTC
