Old programs in the linux a.out format won't run on newly
installed redhat 6.0 systems.

Work around is to find the old redhat 5.2 cdroms and install
the aout-libs-1.4-9.i386.rpm and insmod the binfmt_aout
module.

Can the aout-libs-1.4-9.i386.rpm be included on future
redhat releases?

No. If aout compatibility is needed, do as suggested - use the
RPMs from 5.2.
