Description Udo Jocher 1999-07-21 14:27:59 UTC
Trying to insert the plip module via modprobe
the result of the command
modprobe plip
was:
>parport0: detected irq 7; use procfs to enable
interrupt-driven operation
>/lib/modules/2.2.5-15/net/plip0: init_module: Device or
resource busy
>parport: Device or resource busy

lsmod gives the following parallel-port modules
parport
parport_pc
parport_probe

Also some manual try to insert the plip module give the
message:
Device or resource busy
